Writing by Using Internet.

The wide spread of the internet can help in teaching ESL students. To be specific , Integrating internet in teaching can improve students ' writing skill. For instance, a teacher can create a website for the students, and make this website as a diary for them. I mean, students write their daily activities in the website. Moreover, the teacher can ask them to write about their ideas, thoughts, wishes, issues and other topics which can made a discussion. To encourage students creativity, the teacher can ask the students who like to write poems and stories to share their writing in the website. These kinds of activity which can be done by the facilities of the internet can help forcing students to write. It also encourages students write by using other tools such as online dictionary, and search web to get new writing ideas.

writing by using internet technology can increase the students motivations and self esteem. Students would feel proud of writing their own ideas, and of presenting their writing creativity with not just the teacher, but also with other classmates.

Internet has a great advantages to encourage students to write. Actually, the practices I've mentioned would increase students to work cooperatively and competitively.

Internet Is a Double-edged sword

Internet technology is an essential tool in our lives. It's a window for communication with the world, geting information, entertainments, services, E- commerce, and others. These advantages are known by most of us. As any technological tool it also has disadvantages. To be specific, I want to focus on its bad effects on children.

Imagine your child writes in the browser number (six), and he/ she missed one litter and writes (sex) instead of (six). The child can easily access to one of thousands of pornography sites which can be easily found. Did you ever thought about this issue?!

Now a lot of companies provide block programs to help you control and limit the use of internet for your children. Personally, I have realized this issue before a year when I found a blocking program in one of my favorite sites. So I decided to download this program since my sister who is 15 years old used my laptop. And I'm telling you, it’s easy to download and used. That's made my more comfortable, because I know that my teenage sister wouldn't face any nude pictures.
